Firehouse.com, Firehouse Magazine & Firehouse Expos has announced a
supporting partnership with the International Association of Firefighters in a major fundraising effort to
support the many children, spouses and family members left behind by the firefighters and
emergency medical personnel who perished in the World Trade Center tragedy.
 Thousands of donation checks collected by Firehouse.com sit in front of a banner expressing America's sentiments, signed by hundreds and sent in by Butler County Fire District #1 in Andover, Kansas.

The IAFF will administer the non-profit fund, working with Locals 94 and 854 in New York. Further
All donations are tax deductible through the IAFF's 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
The International and its members are mourning the loss of our brothers and sisters," said
Schaitberger. "There will be many funds established to help the victims. We are encouraging our members to
ask other friends of the fire service to donate to The New York Firefighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund. One
hundred percent of this money will go directly to the fund to benefit the
families to the fallen fire fighters and EMS personnel in New York City."

All monies sent in the name of the original fund Firehouse.com was establishing, "The New York Bravest Memorial Fund"
will now become part of the The New York Firefighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund.
