Sherborn, MA, Deputy Fire Chief John Burke radios instructions to incoming units as a two-story single-family dwelling is enveloped in heavy fire. Firefighters from Ashland, Dover, Medfield, Natick and Westwood assisted Sherborn. Water had to be pumped fr om a pond a mile away. The three-alarm fire, which occured on April 11, 1997, took three hours to extinguish.
