Publisher of Firehouse® Magazine since its inaugural issue in September 1976, ultimately leading to a partnership and subsequent acquisition by Cygnus Publishing. Mr. Bowling brings over 30 years publishing experience to Firehouse including executive sales positions at Seventeen, Harper's Bazaar, Signature (now Conde Nast Traveler) and Institutional Investor. He is also responsible for creating the Firehouse Emergency Services Expo, serves as President of the Fire and Emergency Services Emergency Services Association (FEMSA) and holds membership on the Board of Directors for the Congressional Fire Services Institute and the National Association of Emergency Vehicle Technicians (NAEVT).

The editor-in-chief of Firehouse® Magazine, attended the fire protection engineering program at Oklahoma State University. He was submitting fire photographs to Firehouse® Magazine even before the first issue was published in 1976. Mr. Eisner has been a member of the Tenafly, NJ Fire Department for nearly 22 years and has served as fire chief for the last 10 years. He has made on-the-scene reports from almost every major fire and disaster in the United States in the last 15 years, including the World Trade Center bombing, Oklahoma City explosion, California wildfires, DuPont Plaza Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Devil's Night in Detriot. He is also program director of the Firehouse Emergency Services Expo, coordinating nearly 70 seminars each year.

Executive editor of Firehouse® Magazine, Mr. Barrington is a volunteer firefighter and president of the Glenwood Fire Company, Long Island, NY. He has earned certifications in basic and advanced fire department operations, vehicle extrication, structural firefighting and hazardous materials responses. He has also held a number of fire department administrative offices and is a delegate and officer in several firematic organizations. Mr. Barrington has a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma. He joined the Firehouse® Magazine staff in 1994 with more than 20 years of publishing experience and has held a variety of managerial positions on magazine and daily newspaper staffs. He is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.
