Veteran GA Firefighter Dies During Shift

Camilla Fire Capt. Keith Obrian Williams, who had been a member of the department for more than three decades, was found unresponsive by his fellow firefighters while on duty.

Camilla Fire Capt. Keith Obrian Williams, 54, was found unresponsive by his fellow firefighters early Saturday, the department stated in an update on social media. They performed life-saving efforts, which were unsuccessful.

No details were given concerning why Williams became responsive or what led to his death.

Williams had been a member of the fire department for 32 years. He is survived by his mother and five adult children.
