The members of the Branchville Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Squad, based in College Park, Prince George's County, MD, have recently taken delivery of a Pierce pumper.

 The members of the Branchville Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Squad, based in College Park, Prince George's County, MD, have recently taken delivery of a Pierce pumper. It's built on a Pierce Arrow XT cab and chassis powered by a Detroit Diesel DD213 500-hp engine and an Allison World 6-speed automatic transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale Qmax 1,500-gpm two-stage pump with a 500-gallon tank. It's also equipped with a Whelen LED lighting package.
