Kussmaul's Mobile Data Power System (MDP), Model #: 425-5750-0, is designed to power mobile computers and protect against system crash, lengthy reboot sequence and loss of data. It's internal battery provides supplemental 12-volt power to mobile data devices when low vehicle battery is sensed at the rate of 5 amps for 60 minutes, 10 amps for 20 minutes and 25 amps for 8 minutes.
The devices also contains a time out circuit to preserve battery life, a built-in multi-stage filter to provide clean power for mobile electronics, and it provides a low output warning signal to mobile computers, such as Motorola MW800 series work stations.
The internal three-stage, temperature compensated charger maintains internal 9 A/H back-up battery in fully charge stand-by state. It also has an optional timed load disconnect.
The mobile data power system is backed by a three-year warranty.
