    Video Shows Head-On Wreck with IN Apparatus

    A Wayne Township fire apparatus had a dash cam running Wednesday when a vehicle swerved and struck it head-on during a medical response.

    A driver luckily suffered only minor injuries when their vehicle swerved across a center line and struck a fire apparatus head-on in a suburb of Indianapolis.

    Wayne Township firefighters were on a medical run Wednesday afternoon and had a dash cam running inside their engine when a driver appeared to lose control and their vehicle swerved into the oncoming lane, slamming into the apparatus.

    The fire department posted the video to its Twitter feed, saying the driver was trapped but had suffered only minor injuries before being transported in good condition to Eskenzai hospital in Indianapolis.

    None of the crew members on the engine were injured in the crash.
