A CAL FIRE apparatus overturned while responding to a call Thursday.
The accident happened in Auburn as a CAL FIRE NEU apparatus was headed to a spot fire, KTXL-TV reports. It's not clear how the rig crashed, but the accident forced the vehicle to roll over.
No details were released on how many firefighters were aboard the apparatus, but they were taken to the hospital following the incident. The extent of their injuries and their conditions also were not released.
The apparatus is now out of service, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
