A Fort Worth engine company was damaged when a vehicle slid into it while blocking at an accident scene on the I-820 Loop.
Fort Worth Engine 32 was assisting other crews at an accident scene when a silver Mercedes lost control on rain slickened roads and crashed into the back of the engine.
Fortunately for the driver of the sedan, the brunt of the impact was on the rear door, so the driver was unhurt by the impact, according to KRLD.
No firefighters were injured and department officials reminded the community to slow down and move over at accident scenes.
