Man Dead after Vehicle Hits Ambulance During Pursuit in Aiken, SC

A man fleeing from police was killed Saturday night when his vehicle crashed into the back of an amibulance in Aiken. 

Alonzo Carter, 20. was pronounced dead at the scene whle two EMS personnel in the ambulance were transported for minor injuries, WRDW reported. 

The ambulance was trying to turn onto Augusta road when Carter's car hit the back of it. 

Carter was being pursued by South Carolina Highway Patrol when the collision occurred.
