Three Ohio medics and a patient were injured following a collision with a tractor-trailer Thursday.
The accident happened shortly before 11 a.m. at an intersection in downtown Lima, WLIO-TV reports. An Anna Rescue Squad ambulance carrying patient was approaching the intersection with its lights and sirens when it was struck by the tractor-trailer, which had the green light but was obstructed by buildings.
The three medics and the patient inside the ambulance suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. The tractor-trailer driver was uninjured.
Police did not issue a citation to the tractor-trailer driver, but investigators are still looking into the incident, according to WLIO.
