IU Health Ambulance Catches Fire on Shelburn, IN, Highway

No injuries were reported when the IU Health ambulance burned along U.S. 41 Sunday.

A section of U.S. 41 near  Shelburn was closed for a time Sunday afternoon after an ambulance caught fire.

The cause of the fire that destroyed the IU Health ambulance remains under investigation, WTWO reported. 

There were no reports of injuries, according to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.

What caused the ambulance to catch fire is not known.
