    Bruce Springsteen's Son Hired as NJ Firefighter

    An online post by Sam Springsteen's mom congratulated the rock legend's youngest son on joining the Jersey City Fire Department. "You followed your dreams...JC firefighter."

    Bruce Springsteen may be the greatest, but his son Sam is joining the Bravest.

    The New Jersey rocker’s youngest child was hired as a Jersey City firefighter, according to a social media post by his mother Patti Scialfa.

    “You followed your dreams...JC firefighter .. Stay safe .. love your brave heart,” Scialfa wrote on Instagram.

    Sam Springsteen, 25, took the civil service exam in 2018, according to NJ.com.

    Springsteen graduated from the Monmouth County Fire Academy in 2014 and had been a part of the all-volunteer Colts Neck Fire Department.
