Texas firefighters helped care for an infant that was dropped off at a fire station early Thursday.
The newborn child was left at about 8:30 a.m. at Fort Worth Fire Department's Station 38, the department said in a statement. The infant appeared to be in good health, and the firefighters at the station cared for the child until Texas Child Protective Services arrived to pick up the baby.
