Line of Duty Inc. is offering a new training video for fire, ems and police responders designed to save lives during times when rapid response is essential.
Called "Saving Lives in the Golden Hour, The Rapid Response Treatment Model (R2TM)," the training program examines how Hillsboro, Oregon's police, fire and EMS responders have come together to develop rapid response training that has shaved precious minutes off response times to save lives.
The training teaches participants how to work together for a truly integrated public safety approach to rapid response, how cross-training has become a valuable "ice-breaker," how to make the casualty collection point (CCP) can be as secure as possible and how it can be a useful forward operations center.
The training also teaches the need for overwatch protection and how it is an absolutely vital part in life-saving efforts and describes the crucial equipment for law enforcement in moving victims to the CCP.
The training program is available on DVD or digital download for $195. The program includes the complete trainer's guide, tests, after action report, and certificates of completion. It is great for continuing education and available for POST credit in most states.
