Folds of Honor Scholarships Open for First Responder Families
TULSA, OK, Jan. 20, 2023 – Folds of Honor provides life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders. On February 1st at 9 am EST, scholarship applications will open. This will be the first time families of fallen or disabled first responders will have the opportunity to be provided a scholarship by the Folds of Honor.
The FOH First Responder Scholarships are open to the spouse and/or dependent(s) of a first responder who has fallen or been catastrophically injured in a manner which led to an inability to perform the function of their occupational duties. The scholarship application window is open between February 1 and March 31 each year. All applications must be completed and submitted using the online application portal. Scholarship awards are up to $5,000 yearly Applicants must reapply each year if they are interested in continuing to receive funds from Folds of Honor. Offer notifications are sent in mid-July.

Folds of Honor is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military members who have fallen or been disabled while serving in the United States armed forces or as a first responder. Its educational scholarships support private-school tuition or tutoring in grades K-12 as well as post-secondary tuition. It is rated a four-star charity by Charity Navigator and Platinum on GuideStar. It was founded by Lt. Col.
