Congressional Fire Services Institute Call for Proposals
The official CFSI Call for Proposals for the Dr. William F. Jenaway Seminar Program is open and accepting submissions! The program will be conducted at the 2024 National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium. The Symposium is scheduled for April 24th and 25th in conjunction with the 34th Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Dinner.
This year, CFSI is soliciting seminar submissions for four topic areas:
1. Best practices for cancer mitigation, decontamination, and screening
2. Community Risk Reduction: Working with nontraditional partners
3. Innovation in providing fire-based EMS with the EMT-B/I/P pool in your jurisdiction
4. Artificial intelligence and the fire and emergency services
We are seeking presentations on programs and initiatives addressing these four areas from fire department and national organization representatives. If your department has a program or initiative that is relevant to one of the four topics, we want to hear from you. Similarly, if you are a non-departmental organization spearheading efforts in these spaces, please let us know about your work and how it fits into our four topic areas!
