Syracuse, NY, Fire Department to Host HOT Training for NYSAFC Conference & Expo
Syracuse, NY- The Syracuse Fire Department is proud to host this year’s Hands on Training – HOT, as part of the NYSAFC 118th Annual Conference and FIRE EXPO 2024. Instructors from across the country will spend multiple days teaching attendees the latest in firefighting and rescue strategies and tactics. The Syracuse Fire Department Training Division, a state-of-the-art facility located on State Fair Boulevard, will host nearly 500 attendees taking part in the HOT classes. Instructors will cover everything from live fire training to auto vehicle extrication. Attendees from across New York State and beyond will have the opportunity to learn from leaders in the field of fire and emergency services.
The New York State Association of Fire Chiefs (NYSAFC) is holding their 118th annual conference and FIRE EXPO 2024 in Downtown Syracuse from Wednesday, June 12, 2024 to Saturday, June 15, 2024. The event features the organization’s annual meeting, award presentations, educational seminars, and hands-on-training, as well as FIRE EXPO 2024. FIRE EXPO 2024 showcases the latest in firefighting, rescue and emergency medical response technologies and will host vendors from across the United States and internationally. FIRE EXPO 2024 and the 118th Annual Conference take place at the Oncenter in Downtown Syracuse. Tickets to attend FIRE EXPO 2024 can be purchased at the event.
