Gallo has also worked as an intern for both Fire & Risk Alliance (FRA) and Whiting-Turner Contracting Company (WT). Findings from her FRA research internship was published in an extensive white paper on electric vehicles and battery fires. In recognition of her white paper, she was asked to be a contributing editor for articles in the International Fire & Safety Journal and Fire & Safety Journal Americas.
