NV Teen Wins Scholarship for Firefighting Dad Essay

A high school senior won a $2,000 scholarship after writing an essay about his father who works as a firefighter in North Las Vegas.

High school senior Noah Meyer won a $2,000 scholarship from the National Security Association after writing an essay in tribute to his father Joseph, who works as a firefighter in North Las Vegas.

Noah Meyer plans on attending the University of Nevada-Reno in the fall.
