A Memphis firefighter was placed on leave after he was charged with homicide after a bar fight.
Firefighter Cameron Land, 26, was charged with criminally negligent homicide, WREG reported.
Land and the victim reportedly started fighting inside a bar Saturday night, but continued the battle outside after being kicked out.
He is accused of punching the victim in the head three times causing him to fall on the sidewalk. Found unconscious, he died at a local hospital.
Land was jailed and bail was set at $350,000.
