Ex-Mansfield, AL, Firefighter Charged with Using Stolen Credit Card

The fired firefighter is accused of using the Mansfield Fire Department credit card 180 times to purchase gas in Louisiana and Texas.

A former Mansfield firefighter was arrested Sunday for allegedly making over $14,000 in charges on a stolen city credit card.

Mansfield fire officials notified state police in July reporting a stolen credit card, KTSB reported.

Investigators determined the credit card had been used more than 180 times to buy gas in Louisiana and Texas.

Donald Anthony, 22, who was fired from the fire department in February, was charged with felony access device fraud and felony identity theft.
