Rural South Carolina Fire Station on Fire

A three-alarm fire is reported at Ekom Beach Fire Department.

Firefighters in South Carolina are battling a three-alarm fire at a rural fire station.

The blaze at Ekom Beach Fire Department was discovered about noon, according to WYFF4.com.

Several fire departments in the Laurens County area are responding to the blaze.

Laurens County Sheriff Ricky Chastain told reporters the entire building was on fire with flames shooting through the roof.

Reports indicated all the apparatus was still inside the burning station.
