Two EMS personnel were seriously injured Thursday in a fiery crash in Hollywood.
Maryland State troopers came across the crash and rescued the two men from the burning vehicle, according to Southern Maryland News Net.
The investigation showed the driver of the St. Mary’s County Department of Emergency Services SUV suffered an apparent medical emergency. The vehicle veered off the road, hit a tree and caught fire.
The 35 and 37-year-old men were flown by Maryland State Police helicopters to a trauma center.
The troopers were not injured.
State police are investigating the crash.
There was no word on whether the crew was headed to an emergency when the crash occurred
