Tablet Command's Real-Time Incident Sharing for Emergency Response Agencies at FDIC
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (April 7, 2025) – Tablet Command, an emergency response and incident management solution for the fire service, will demonstrate recently introduced functionality today at North America’s largest firefighting conference, FDIC International.
Tablet Command’s mobile incident command applications increase situational awareness, speed incident response, streamline incident management, and improve firefighter safety and accountability. Their latest innovation allows agencies to share real-time incident updates.
“By streamlining the flow of information, Tablet Command ensures first responders have the tools to manage dynamic and dangerous events effectively, such as the recent Los Angeles fires,” says Co-Founder & CEO William Pigeon. “Our software offers incident sharing to seamlessly allow neighboring departments’ dispatch by different communication centers to see each other’s CAD incident details when they want to.”
Currently, incidents can be shared with other Tablet Command customer accounts based on incident type and assigned units.
Tablet Command’s technology helped streamline mutual aid and information sharing during the recent Los Angeles fires, including the devastating Palisades and Eaton Fires. Many agencies supporting the Los Angeles County wildfires are regional resources throughout California, including Northern California, Orange County, and San Diego County, and almost all of them utilize Tablet Command for situational awareness and coordination. The software equips first responders with real-time vehicle locations from agencies outside their immediate region, fostering coordination and situational awareness at a moment’s notice. The platform also integrates CAD details, customized maps, offline maps, fire vehicle location data, Genasys Protect evacuation zones, and other vital data to support informed decision-making in the field.
“At Tablet Command, we’re committed to continuous innovation so our colleagues and customers can stay safer on the frontlines—protecting lives, property, and the communities they serve,” said Pigeon.
Emergency Responders can learn more about Tablet Command and all of its features online. Those attending FDIC International 2025 can explore the technology in person at Booth 13015.
