St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue recently took delivery of two brand new rescue trucks to replace two aging vehicles in its fleet. Manufactured in 2010 by Freightliner with a Wheel Coach Rescue body, the new rescue truck comes with a state of the art LED lighting package, chevrons on both the front and rear, aluminum wheels, custom graphics and the station logo, according to the rescue truck specs committee chairperson, Firefighter/Paramedic Rick Chipelo. The two new trucks will go to Lake Maggiore Fire Station #8 and Lakewood Fire Station #11.
