The Clarksville, TN, Fire Dept. has taken delivery of an extruded aluminum 78-foot rear-mount aerial built by E-ONE.

The Clarksville, TN, Fire Dept. has taken delivery of an extruded aluminum 78-foot rear-mount aerial built by E-ONE. It's built on an E-ONE Typhoon medium cab powered by a Cummins ISL 450 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS. It has a 20-inch front-bumper with a gravel shield and a 12-inch deep hose tray. To fight fire, it has a E-ONE single-stage  pump rated at 1,500-gpm, a 470-gallon water tank and a 30-gallon foam cell. It also as a 78-foot extruded aluminum ladder with a 750-pound tip load and a 2.5 to 1 structural safety factor, advanced aerial control system with pump panel controls and 16-foot outrigger spread with short jack capability. Other features include a Whelen F4 mini light bars and a 600 series Super LED lower level warning light package and an 8,000-watt SmartPower hydraulic generator with a cord reel and Whelen Pioneer scene lights.
