Sutphen built this 4,000-gallon tanker for the North Bangor Fire Company in Bangor, PA.
The rig is built on a Kenworth T880 two-door commercial chassis and has an overall length of 34' 2 1/2" with a 256-inch wheelbase. Power comes from a 505-hp Cummins ISX 15 engine with an Allison EVS4500 transmission.
For firefighting, it is equipped with a 1,250-gpm Hale DSD PTO pump with four 2 1/2-inch and one 4-inch discharges and a 4,000-gallon water tank.
The Sutphen Wet Side Tanker Tandem body is constructed of stainless steel and has 120 cu. ft. of storage space and AMDOR roll-up doors.
Warning and lighting equipment includes a bumper-mounted Federal Q2B Siren, FireTech double stack 17-inch brow lights, and double stack MB 17 1/2-inch 12V LED scene light,
It is outfitted with a Husky 4000-gallon aluminum frame portable tank, a Brigade, Backeye 360 camera system and Tecniq E44 LED light strip hose bed lighting.
