    Wayne Jones is a captain with Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR) in Conway, SC, and serves as a lead instructor for the department’s training division. He has served with HCFR since 1996. Jones also is an adjunct instructor for the South Carolina Fire Academy. He holds an associate degree in fire science from Columbia Southern University and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in emergency management. Jones is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and of the International Society of Fire Service Instructors.
