A ceiling fell on two Savannah firefighters while they battled a house fire on Monday afternoon, according to The Savannah Morning News.
Crews responded to the single-story home in the 12700 block of Largo Drive in the Berkshire West neighborhood after the fire was reported at approximately 1 p.m.
One firefighter was injured when the ceiling in the living room fell and was transported to St. Joseph's hospital.
The other firefighter was uninjured.
Officials believe the fire started in the kitchen or dining room before spreading to the attic.
