Body Found After Semi-Truck Explodes in Wash.

TACOMA, Wash. -- A body was found inside a semi-truck Thursday morning after it exploded and burned. The Tacoma Fire Department responded to reports of two loud explosions in Tacoma near D Street and E. 19th Street across from Johnny's Dock Restaurant and Marina. After putting out the fire, Tacoma firefighters found the body, they said.

A body was found inside a semi-truck Thursday morning after it exploded and burned.

The Tacoma Fire Department responded to reports of two loud explosions in Tacoma near D Street and E. 19th Street across from Johnny's Dock Restaurant and Marina.

After putting out the fire, Tacoma firefighters found the body, they said.

We spoke to a firefighter on the scene who said, "The police arson unit is out here also, along with our investigators, and they are actually waiting for it to become a little bit more daylight out before they continue their investigation."
