Three Ala. FFs Injured in Engine Crash

Three Birmingham firefighters were transported to a hospital after a fire engine collided with a tree service truck, according to The Birmingham News. The incident occurred on U.S. 280 at I-495 South at approximately 2:30 p.m. and three civilians also were injured. None of the injuries appeared to be life threatening, Battalion Chief C.W. Mardis told the newspaper.
