Detroit Fire Truck, School Bus Collide

Two firefighters were take to a hospital for treatment.

DETROIT --

A school bus crashed into the back of a fire truck in Detroit around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The accident happened on Six Mile Road at Greenfield Road.

Investigators said the fire truck did not have its emergency sirens on.

It is unknown whether it was responding to a call.

Five children, none of them injured, were on the bus.

Two firefighters were transported to a local hospital.

There is no word on the extent of their injuries.

A second bus arrived to pick up the children and take them to their destination.
