Three Children, Two Adults Injured in Ohio House Fire

The cause of the blaze has not been determined.

Three children and two adults were flown to a local hospital after a fire in their home Wednesday.

Fire officials said the blaze broke out at 5:53 a.m. on Gasche Road in Wooster.

Dan and Julie Hatton and their children, Daniel, Joshua and Tamika, all under the age of 7, were taken to Wooster Community Hospital by LifeFlight. Dan and the children were then transported to Akron Children's Hospital.

Daniel was listed in serious condition. Joshua was listed in good condition. No other information on the family's condition was released.

Neighbors said the family lived upstairs in the house. Another family living downstairs got out safely.

They said Dan was burned running back into the home to rescue the children.

The cause of the blaze has not been determined. Fire officials are investigating.
