Maryland Firefighters Rescue Several During 3-Alarmer

Several people were rescued Tuesday morning during a three-alarm fire at an apartment complex in the Glenmont area of Wheaton.

Firefighters battled the blaze at a three-story apartment complex in the 2200 block of Georgian Way near the intersection of Randolph Road and Georgia Avenue.

The fire broke out at about 10 a.m.

Firefighters rescued several people from the apartments. It is not known if everyone is accounted for.
