New York City firefighters are taking longer and longer to reach their fires and their response times have gone up again. This is the tenth month in a row.

Last May the city closed six engine companies; four in Brooklyn, one in Queens, and one in Manhattan. Engine 212 in Greenpoint was one of those closed.
