District Court Clerk Linda Shaffer said cases scheduled to be heard Tuesday are being delayed for a week, and officials are searching for a location to hold court sessions on Thursday.
There currently is no phone or electrical service to the building, Shaffer said.
The Mountain Home Fire Department and Arkansas State Police are investigating the Saturday night fire.
When firefighters arrived, there was heavy fire coming from an office at the northeast corner of the complex, according to a report by Fire Department Capt. David Dover. It said flames were quickly knocked down, but firefighters discovered the fire had extended through connected areas to other parts of the building.
Capt. Wayne Almond said the building was once a church, and the heavy timbers used in construction and the thickness of the roof made it difficult to reach fire that had extended from the office area.
Fire Inspector Danny Kerns said the point of origin of the fire is still being determined. State Police Sgt. Mark Hollingsworth found evidence of burn patterns on the floor, according to a report.
