One of Music City's oldest restaurants is now closed after a fire.
Flames broke out Thursday morning in the kitchen of Brown's Diner.
Jim Love has owned the restaurant at 21st Avenue and Blair Street for more than 30 years. He told News 2 that he has no insurance, but still has every intention to rebuild. But it is unclear when the diner will reopen. Brown's has been a fixture in West Nashville since 1927.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
