Now, people in the Village of Camillus are depending on mutual aid from Fairmount for their fire protection.

Camillus residents like Flora Gravante no longer feel secure.

"I feel unsafe. If our fire department is closed down then our equipment can't get out. If Fairmount is coming in that is probably fine, except what happens if Fairmount needs that truck and they pull it out? Then, we're left here with no protection,
