A three-alarm fire destroyed a Louisville business Friday morning.

The fire started shortly after 6 a.m. at Art Boundaries, Inc. The business makes everything from cabinetry to furniture to windows. Firefighters were able to save some of the products, but at least half of the building was destroyed.

Pat Lippy, the owner of the business, was inside when the fire started and tried to put it out himself. "I was panicking and couldn't even open the fire extinguisher When I did, the flames were above my head, and I just ran to the front door."

Lippy says he hopes to avoid laying off any of his 15 workers because of the fire.

One firefighter did suffer minor injuries when he was hit in the face by a board. The cause of the fire wasn't immediately determined.
