We dedicate this issue to these brave souls. They responded to the World Trade Center with one thought in mind, helping their fellow man, in the job they loved to do and had been trained to do.
Fight fires, save lives. Their bravery and acts of heroism will be forever etched in all of our thoughts and prayers.
They made the supreme sacrifice as soldiers protecting our citizens in a new type of war. We shall be forever grateful and they will always be remembered. We also pay tribute to the 37 Port Authority and 23 NYPD officers who died in the line of duty.
