Firefighters Battle Blaze at Brooklyn Junk Yard

The blaze broke out among piles of junked cars at the New York yard.

Brooklyn-- Firefighters battled a fire at a junk yard in Brooklyn into the evening Tuesday.

The blaze broke out among piles of junked cars at the yard on Preston Court.

Fire Department units arrived on the scene shortly before 6:00pm Tuesday and set up tower ladders around the junk yard, located between East 58th and Ralph Avenue.

There were no reports of injuries Tuesday evening, as the fire department got the inferno under control.
