Sterling Rope is excited to announce the latest addition to our line of F4 Escape products. We developed the Mercury lumbar bag as another option for efficient storage, carrying, and deployment. Worn directly below the SCBA, the new generation of bag offers several advantages and advancements.
•Reduced profile. Putting the system behind the firefighter removes bulk from the side, and reduces overall profile.
•Retained function of pocket. The Mercury bag allows firefighters to utilize their bunker pocket for equipment and tools, rather than system storage.
•Even load distribution. The weight of the F4 system is carried across both sides of the firefighter's body; rather than being "lopsided"
•Durable materials, designed for firefighters. Made of flame-resistant 1000 denier Cordura, which is durable, cut and tear resistant, and repels water.
•Adjustable mounting system allows for different setups depending on size of user, to minimize interference with SCBA and turnout gear. Compatible with most harnesses on the market.
