Sept. 1, 2011
Earle Swope died in January 2008, trapped under icy water during a routine training exercise for his rescue dive team. That is just the beginning of the story. "You lose body heat 25 times faster in water " you move slower, but with more freedom than anywhere else in life -- except you can't breathe."
