Mississippi Firefighter Killed in Motorcycle Crash

STATELINE, Miss. --A Mississippi firefighter/EMT was killed Monday night when his motorcycle struck a deer.

Robert Allen France, 45, a member of Stateline Vol. Fire Department, was returning from a training class when his motorcycle hit a deer, according to the U.S. Fire Administration.

France, a training officer, had been at a meeting at the Green County Emergency Services Office.

He was treated at the scene before being flown to USA Medical Center in Mobile, AL where he succumbed to his injuries.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
