Retiring New Orleans Fire Chief Tim McConnell marked the end of his career with the department during a ceremony that also transferred the reins of command to his interim successor.
 
San Antonio's mayor and city manager denounced a photo showing Fire Chief Charles Hood poised to eat sushi placed on a mostly nude woman at a firefighter's birthday party this year.
 
"Fire Chief Anthony Serna has failed in his duties to provide a safe, efficient, and cost-effective fire service in the City of East Chicago," stated the firefighters union in a letter after the vote.
 
The Philadelphia Fire Fighters and Paramedics Union is standing by its endorsement of President Trump following a month of controversy and angry protests from members.
