Photos: Crews from Two States Battle Fire at Wis. Bar

A stubborn fire destroyed General Sam’s Sports Bar & Grill in Somerset on Feb. 15.

The fire at the Main Street business was reported by a passerby around 2:30 p.m.

Firefighters from Baldwin, Hudson, New Richmond, Osceola, Roberts-Warren, and St. Joseph from Wisconsin responded along with Bayport and St. Croix Falls from Minnesota.  

Officials said the business was destroyed by the fire which likely started in the basement.  

Crews remained on the scene for several hours.
