There will be a minimum of 6 instructors for this class. We believe in a high instructor to student ratio. This affords your members the opportunity to learn from several different instructors, with varying backgrounds and experience levels.
ALL members will have the opportunity to perform ALL of the following tasks AND MORE:
· Conventionally force inward opening doors using the “irons” at varying degrees of difficulty
· Conventionally force outward opening doors using the “irons”
· Force a simulated door from the “hinged-side” using the “irons”
· Force padlocks using a Duck-bill Lock-breaker, and the “irons”
· Force a “Chinese” padlock using a screwdriver
· Cut a padlock with a power saw
· Perform at least 10 cuts with a power saw of various heights & saw orientation to simulate the removal of window bars
· Cut a simulated American Series 2000 padlock with a power-saw
· Pull several lock cylinders using the “irons”, a “K-Tool”, and/or a “Rex-Tool”
· Receive ample hands-on time using through-the-lock techniques to manipulate hundreds of locks on display
· Participate in a 2-hour lecture/discussion pertaining to tools and forcible entry size-up
