Thermite is one of the most capable, durable and reliable firefighting robots on the market. Engineered and manufactured by Howe & Howe, Thermite was designed as an advanced tool to help operators combat fires safely and efficiently. By creating standoff, Thermite allows operators to remotely operate the robot and fight fires from a safe distance. The bellypack controller provides high-definition video feedback for enhanced situational awareness and ultimate maneuverability in difficult conditions.
We offer two Thermite configurations, the RS1 and RS3. The RS1 has the ability to output a maximum 1,250 gpm at 200 psi and is ideal for tight or confined spaces such as doorways, entries and hallways. The RS3’s modular design and wider stance allows it to output a maximum 2,500 gpm at 200 psi and incorporate additional equipment, including a plow assembly and positive pressure ventilation (PPV) ventilator.
