Close Call for Indianapolis Firefighters at House Blaze

Two firefighters were nearly struck as a motorist ran over a hose, according to an Indianapolis battalion chief.

There was a close call at a house fire early Wednesday.

A vehicle ran over a hose and nearly hit two firefighters, WTHR reported.

Luckily, no equipment was damaged.

Crews worked for more than 30 minutes to bring the fire on the second floor of a vacant home under control.

The same house caught fire last year.

The cause remains under investigation.
